Our neighbors at St. Ann’s 2009 Lawn Party will welcome the community to its grounds again this year on August 1 and 2, when the parish holds it annual picnic.
The recently renovated St. Ann’s Parish is centrally located in the heart of downtown Lenox. Events will be held from 9 a.m. to dusk on Saturday, and include a live auction from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a cash raffle, lunch, music, games, and a spaghetti dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Activities will continue from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. and bake- and tag sales that span both days.
A raffle drawing will also take place on Sunday, with prizes ranging from $100 to $1,000 in cash.
Volunteers are still needed for a variety of tasks before and throughout the event; to volunteer, contact Fr. C.J. Waitekus at 413.637.0157 or Dan Schilling at 413.637.9979. To donate a baked good to the two-day bake sale, contact Sandy Morley at 413.637.2904.
